Position Overview

NexLaw AI is seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team and transform our legal research tool into a user-friendly and intuitive platform for our clients. As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-centered designs that enhance the user experience with our AI-powered search functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our product team to understand user needs and preferences and evaluate these requirements to inform design decisions for our legal research tool.
  • Use storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to illustrate design concepts and user interactions for our AI-powered search functionality. Ensure that these designs are visually appealing and align with the overall product goals and objectives.
  • Design graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs, widgets, and navigation buttons to facilitate seamless user navigation within our legal research tool.
  • Construct search fields and other navigation components to optimize the user experience with our AI-powered search functionality.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly show how our legal research tool functions and looks, ensuring that they are functional and visually appealing.
  • Create unique graphic designs, including images, sketches, and tables, to enhance the overall visual aesthetic of our legal research tool.
  • Prepare and present initial design drafts to our internal teams and key stakeholders and make layout adjustments based on user feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Adhere to style standards for fonts, colors, and images to ensure a cohesive visual identity for our legal research tool.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and wireframe tools like Wireframe.cc and InVision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure that designs are both functional and visually appealing.
