Draft a Legal Memo

  1. From the sidebar, select NeXa. In the composer, open the use-case menu and choose Legal Drafting — the use case that produces memos, contracts and other drafts.

Navigate to Draft a Legal Memo

  2. Enter the core legal issue you want the memo to address (e.g., “Draft a legal memo analyzing potential liability under negligence law when a contractor causes property damage.”).

  3. Select your Jurisdiction and upload any relevant case files to provide more context for the analysis.

Add jurisdiction and upload case files

  4. NeXa will generate a complete memo with sections for the issue, rule synthesis, application, and conclusion, complete with citations. The draft opens in an editor, so you can revise it in place before exporting. You can also ask follow-up questions like, “Can you analyze whether contributory negligence applies?” to refine the analysis.
