How to Use Draft a Legal Memo
Section titled “How to Use Draft a Legal Memo”-
Navigate to Legal Drafting
Section titled “Navigate to Legal Drafting”From the sidebar, select NeXa. In the composer, open the use-case menu and choose Legal Drafting — the use case that produces memos, contracts and other drafts.

Input Your Legal Question
Section titled “Input Your Legal Question”Enter the core legal issue you want the memo to address (e.g., “Draft a legal memo analyzing potential liability under negligence law when a contractor causes property damage.”).

Add Context
Section titled “Add Context”Select your Jurisdiction and upload any relevant case files to provide more context for the analysis.

Review the Memo
Section titled “Review the Memo”NeXa will generate a complete memo with sections for the issue, rule synthesis, application, and conclusion, complete with citations. The draft opens in an editor, so you can revise it in place before exporting. You can also ask follow-up questions like, “Can you analyze whether contributory negligence applies?” to refine the analysis.
