Draft a Legal Memo

This guide explains how to use NeXa to draft a detailed legal memo for your case.

How to Use Draft a Legal Memo

1. Navigate to Draft a Legal Memo

   From the NeXa sidebar, select Draft a Legal Memo.

   

2. Input Your Legal Question

   Enter the core legal issue you want the memo to address (e.g., “Draft a legal memo analyzing potential liability under negligence law when a contractor causes property damage.”).

3. Add Context

   Select your Jurisdiction and upload any relevant case files to provide more context for the analysis.

   

4. Review the Memo

   NeXa will generate a complete memo with sections for the issue, rule synthesis, application, and conclusion, complete with citations. You can ask follow-up questions like, “Can you analyze whether contributory negligence applies?” to refine the analysis.
